The car was originally purchased by a guy in his mid 20s new from the dealership and he owned it in completely stock form until 1998 and sold it to a guy called Nick. nick owned it till ~2004? while he owned it he blew the original motor at 310,000km and fitted the 20V blacktop in 2001 through BD4's.
Around mid 2004 I found this car on Drive.com.au for my mate Andy and together we drove down to where the car was and Andy bought it. The car came with a THICK manilla folder with receipts for EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING every single thing that was ever done to the car was in there as was every single service receipt majority of which were carried out by a toyota dealership. He owned it for ~12months during which time he managed to fuck the paint which was in decent condition bar a couple scratches. *sigh* LOL his attempts at resprayin the car himself in his garage resulted in the munted paintjob you see today.
I then purchased the car off my mate Andy ~mid to end of 2005 during the time I owned it, I fitted a stereo, and coilovers. I drove it on my Ls and then subsequently my red Ps. I took it down to the drags on 16th April 2006 and only got 3 passes, I had never been there even as a spectator let alone someone competing lol. I recorded a best run of 16.120@85.52mph with a 60' time of 2.720 (deadset shockin launch)
I then sold the car in the beginning of 2007 to MADROX from here. While he owned it the 20V died, so he had the 20V rebuilt, a new stereo fitted and also fitted the current suspension setup of kingspring lows and KYB struts along with a retint and alarm.
I purchased the car back off MADROX in August 2008. Since then I have modified the stereo, fitted superstrut brakes and different rims with many more plans in stock.
